Effective Date: July 27, 2026These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of www.reasonfortheloom.com (the “Site”) and any purchase from Reason for the Loom (“Reason for the Loom,” “we,” “us” or “our”).By accessing the Site, submitting an order or purchasing a product, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Return and Exchange Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or place an order.

1. Eligibility and Site Use

You must be at least 18 years old or have the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian to make a purchase through the Site.You agree to provide current, complete and accurate information when placing an order or submitting an inquiry. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for activity conducted through your account.You may not use the Site:For an unlawful or fraudulent purposeTo interfere with the Site’s security or operationTo introduce viruses, malicious code or other harmful materialTo collect information about other users without authorizationTo misrepresent your identity or affiliationTo copy or exploit Site content or product designs without permission

2. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to describe and display our products accurately. However, photographs, descriptions and other Site content are provided for general reference.Colors may appear differently depending on screen settings, photography and lighting. Rug patterns, motifs and borders may be adjusted when a design is produced in a different size to maintain its overall proportions.We reserve the right to correct errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to update product information without prior notice.

3. Handmade Characteristics

Our rugs are individually handcrafted. Variations in color, weave, texture, pattern placement and dimensions are inherent characteristics of handmade products and are not necessarily defects.Finished rug measurements may vary by approximately one to three inches from the stated dimensions. Minor irregularities and variations contribute to each rug’s individual character.By purchasing a handmade rug, you acknowledge and accept these reasonable variations.

4. Made-to-Order and Custom Products

Made-to-order rugs are produced after an order is placed. Custom products include rugs made in a nonstandard size, customized colorway, original design or otherwise personalized specification.Customers are responsible for reviewing all selected sizes, colors, quantities, shipping information and customization details before approving an order.If we provide a rendering, color reference, strike-off, sample or other approval material, it is intended as a guide. Differences may occur between samples, digital renderings and the finished handmade product.Made-to-order and custom products are final sale once production begins and cannot be canceled, returned or exchanged except as required by law or when we determine that the item is materially defective or incorrect.Contact us immediately if you need to request a change. We cannot guarantee that a change or cancellation can be accommodated once an order has been submitted or production has begun. Approved changes may result in additional charges and a revised production schedule.

5. Orders and Acceptance

Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance. We may decline or cancel an order for reasons including:Product or material unavailabilityIncorrect pricing or product informationSuspected fraud or unauthorized paymentShipping limitationsAn inability to fulfill requested customizationViolation of these TermsIf we cancel an order after payment has been collected, we will refund the applicable amount to the original payment method.An automated confirmation acknowledges that we received your order but does not necessarily constitute final acceptance of a custom request. We may contact you to verify details before production begins.

6. Pricing, Payment and Taxes

Prices are listed in United States dollars unless otherwise stated. Prices may change without notice, but changes will not affect an order we have already accepted unless the customer approves a modification.Payment is due when the order is placed unless we agree otherwise in writing. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method submitted.Applicable sales tax and other charges will be calculated at checkout when required. Customers are responsible for customs duties, import taxes or similar charges associated with an international shipment unless otherwise stated.Promotions and discount codes are subject to their stated terms. They may not be combined, duplicated, transferred or applied retroactively unless we expressly permit it.

7. Production and Shipping Estimates

Made-to-order and custom rugs typically ship within 90–120 days. This is an estimated production period and not a guaranteed delivery date.Production and delivery may be affected by artisan schedules, material availability, customization, quality review, weather, carrier disruptions, customs delays and other circumstances outside our reasonable control.If a material delay occurs, we will communicate with you and provide any options required by applicable law.Ready-to-ship processing and delivery estimates are also estimates and may vary by destination and carrier. We are not responsible for carrier delays after an order has been transferred to the carrier, except to the extent required by law.Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Additional shipping, storage, redelivery or address-correction charges caused by incorrect information, missed delivery arrangements or refusal of delivery may be charged to the customer.

8. Delivery and Inspection

Please inspect your order promptly after delivery.If an item arrives visibly damaged, defective or incorrect, contact kmcgee@reasonfortheloom.com within 48 hours when reasonably possible. Include:Your order numberPhotographs of the itemPhotographs of the packagingA description of the issueKeep all packaging until we have reviewed the claim. Failure to retain packaging or provide reasonable documentation may limit our ability to pursue a carrier claim.If we confirm that an item was damaged in transit, materially defective or shipped incorrectly, we may repair or replace it or issue an appropriate refund. Replacement rugs that must be remade may require the standard production period.Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

9. Returns and Exchanges

Ready-to-ship products may be exchanged or returned for store credit within seven days of delivery if they meet the requirements of our Return and Exchange Policy.Made-to-order rugs, custom products, personalized products, gift cards and items marked Final Sale are not eligible for return or exchange except as required by law.Approved ready-to-ship returns must be unused, unaltered and in their original condition and packaging. Customers are generally responsible for authorized return-shipping costs unless an item was damaged, defective or shipped incorrectly.Our complete Return and Exchange Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If these Terms and that policy conflict regarding a return, the Return and Exchange Policy will control.

10. Intellectual Property

The Site and its contents—including text, photographs, graphics, logos, branding, product names, rug designs, motifs, layouts and other materials—are owned by or licensed to Reason for the Loom and are protected by intellectual-property laws.You may view and use the Site for personal, noncommercial shopping purposes. Without our prior written permission, you may not:Copy, reproduce, publish or distribute Site contentUse our photographs or product descriptions for commercial purposesReproduce or manufacture our original rug designsCreate products substantially derived from our original designsRemove copyright, trademark or ownership noticesUse our name, logo or branding in a way that suggests sponsorship or affiliationPurchasing a product does not transfer any intellectual-property rights in its design.

11. Materials Submitted by Customers

You represent that you have the right to provide any photographs, artwork, patterns, inspiration images or other materials submitted to us and that our authorized use of those materials to evaluate or fulfill your request will not violate another party’s rights.Submitting third-party inspiration does not guarantee that we can or will reproduce it. We may decline a project if we believe a requested design could infringe another party’s intellectual-property rights.You retain ownership of materials you submit. You grant us a limited license to use them as reasonably necessary to communicate with you, develop the requested design and fulfill your order.We will not use customer-submitted room photographs publicly for marketing without permission.

12. Third-Party Services and Links

The Site is hosted by Squarespace and may use third-party providers for payment processing, shipping, analytics, communications and other services.The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for their availability, content, privacy practices or terms. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that provider’s policies.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

Except for any express warranty we provide in writing and any warranty that cannot legally be excluded, the Site and products are provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis.To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and noninfringement.We do not warrant that the Site will always be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that every product photograph will precisely represent the finished product.Some jurisdictions do not permit certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reason for the Loom will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or purchase of a product.To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability relating to a product or order will not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

15. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Reason for the Loom harmless from claims, damages, liabilities and reasonable expenses arising from:Your unlawful or unauthorized use of the SiteYour violation of these TermsMaterials you submit that infringe another party’s rightsFraudulent or intentionally harmful conductThis provision does not require you to indemnify us for our own unlawful conduct.

17. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.Subject to applicable consumer-protection laws, any legal action relating to these Terms or a purchase from Reason for the Loom will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Dallas County, Texas.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Revised Terms will be posted on the Site with a new effective date.Changes will apply prospectively and will not materially alter the terms of an order already accepted unless agreed to by the customer or required by law.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary. The remaining provisions will continue in effect.Our failure to enforce a provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.

20. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Return and Exchange Policy and any written order details or custom-product approvals, constitute the agreement between you and Reason for the Loom concerning the Site and your purchase.If separately negotiated written terms conflict with these Terms, the separately negotiated terms will control for that transaction.
