Begin with any rug in the Reason for the Loom collection. Select the pattern that speaks to you, or tell us what you are looking for and we will help guide you toward the right design.

Customize size & color

Share your desired dimensions and color palette. Every design can be made in a custom size, and its colors can be adjusted to complement your room, furnishings, and personal style.

Your custom wool rug will be hand-knotted in India by skilled artisans using time-honored techniques. Because every rug is individually crafted, each subtle piece has subtle variations that make it truly one of a kind.

Custom rugs usually ship within 90-120 days.

The character of a handmade rug lies in the details that make it unique. Finished dimensions may vary by approximately 1-3 inches, and subtle differences in color and weave are a natural part of the hand-knotting process.

When a design is produced in a different size, its motifs, pattern, and border may be adjusted slightly to preserve the rug’s overall proportions.
